This training was super beneficial. I felt Stephanie was an amazing instructor. She is genuine, well educated, and has great personal anecdotes to help us trust her opinion.

District employee, Training 2023

Over the years I have worked with many different BCBAs. I had the great pleasure to work with Stephanie during a 3 year period at my son’s private ABA school.  During this time, she always made me feel like I was an important part of the team.  Both myself and the home staff were included in training and observation on all of programming, behavior plan , and reinforcement protocols. We both agreed that, for programming to be successful, it needs to be implemented in all areas of the individual’s life.

Stephanie provided a high quality program that worked on increasing communication, as well as, accepting delayed and denied access; through this program we saw a significant decrease in my son’s severe problem behaviors. This allowed him to be more successful at school, home, and our community -in turn improving his life and our families.

The biggest thing that I have taken away has been how important it is to really take the time to understand each student’s individual needs. We want every child to be successful in and out of the classroom, but that takes understanding what we can do to help them get there!
I just loved the way Dr. Valentini talked about how to interact with children. Behavior can be such a difficult thing to understand, but I really like how she views behavior management. I thought all of it was so informative.
My biggest takeaway from Dr. Valentini's presentation was that autism presents very differently in all students and that they need their unique needs to be curated to in order to learn. I really enjoyed her perspective.

Stephanie is an exceptional behavior analyst with the rare ability to demonstrate a strong command of behavior analytic theory which she is easily able to break down into clear and practical concepts readily understood by those with limited behavior analysis experience. She is especially adept at identifying complex behavioral functions of behavior, while considering the individual’s learning history, preferences and communication abilities- then using this information to develop meaningful treatment plans that promote self-determination, advocacy and choice. Stephanie communicates her clinical expertise in a manner that is free from jargon, easily understood, and greatly valued by graduate students, registered behavior technicians, and caregivers.
